My name is Jean Gierbolini. I am a graduate student enrolled in Purdue University’s MSEd in Learning Design and Technology program. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Indiana University and a master’s degree in reading education from SUNY Albany. For nine years, I taught elementary school students in multiple grade levels, which strengthened my understanding and application of learning theory. These experiences, along with my own online learning adventures, helped me discover my interest in e-learning, multimedia principles, and utilizing innovative technological tools in instruction. Now specializing in instructional design, I enjoy designing interactive e-learning materials that enhance learning using a variety of authoring tools.
My portfolio contains samples of some of my recent e-learning and multimedia projects, along with information about the tools and techniques I used to create them.
